Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is a well-known American actor. Following her film debut with 1983's Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack actors. She also appeared on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than 20 years. At the beginning of the 80s, she began her career as a film actress with the thriller Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. In the film directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. Following her success in her first film she was later seen in the 1985 comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the best high school movies of all time. Although the budget for this movie was only $1 million, the film has made more than $50 million. Additionally, she began appearing in various TV shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. The show targeted teenagers and first aired in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are a few of the other shows on where she's been featured. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her stellar performances among them her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
